About Us
Two families have come together to keep the tradition of the former Marblehead Lobster Company alive to serve Marblehead and surrounding north shore communities. With combined experience in commercial fishing, lobstering, and food service, the O’Keefe and Brewin families love having this opportunity to be a part of the vibrant Marblehead community.
We chose the name Little Harbor Lobster Company to honor the history that is so special to the market's location. The market overlooks Little Harbor, which was the site of the first fishing station in Marblehead and where the first settlers arrived. We bring a fresh, community-based market concept to serve both longstanding Marblehead Lobster Company customers and new patrons.
At the core of Little Harbor Lobster is the desire to support the fishermen and women that contribute so much to our community and give residents of Marblehead and surrounding communities access to the freshest seafood. With decades of experience fishing in the region, Tim, one of the owners of Little Harbor, has developed strong relationships with other fishermen that we utilize to source lobsters and other seafood offered at LHLC to provide our customers with a true boat-to-table experience. We are proudly woman-owned.
